Egg Haiku

I had a chicken
And it wouldn’t lay an egg
But he’ll lay one soon

I want eggs today
I want them with some bacon
Or maybe some ham

Egg Kids

From the 26th of March, 2008, my group will take on the challenge of looking after an egg. My group (Movies, Took, and I) will bring in a blown egg, name it and decorate it however we like. We will take it wherever we go and will do this from Wednesday – Friday. The conditions of the egg will be in a take-away box and filled with shredded newspaper.

Under The Sea

In 1978 there was a young boy who lived by the glittering ocean. One day he went to the beach with his middle-aged parents. He saw a sign that read: Scuba Diving. Once in a lifetime opportunity! He asked his parents if they could go scuba diving. His parents said yes so he ran to the stall and asked for three scuba diving packages. The man gave the boy the large, heavy oxygen tanks and masks and off they went. They ran into the ocean and went as far as he could into the ocean.

He dived down into the deep, dark ocean with his parents. They found a Sea Monkey that could talk. “Hello” said the Sea Monkey. They ran away from the monkey because they were scared. They found three opal-coloured eggs. They picked them up and took them with them. They went up to the extremely hot surface and returned the scuba gear. Then they started to rise up into the air.

They rose into the pale blue sky and then they started to fall. The small boy grabbed his oxygen tank and read it. It was a helium container! They were falling and then they looked down. They were falling and then they saw the beach right under their feet. They were about three metres off the ground. Two metres. One metre. “Ahhh! Oh, it was just a dream. Well, I’d better get back to sleep.”

Castle Design

For my medieval studies I did Medieval Homes and Lifestyles. The activity I made for the class was to design their own castle. I made the shape of the castle on Microsoft Word using the lines. The class has to decorate the castle.
